Last Saturday, RMIT welcomed visitors who had their hearts set on becoming global trade leaders. The participants in the Master of Global Trade Information Sessionwent home motivated by the transformational program, as well as 50% scholarship opportunities.
It is no surprise that the Master of Global Trade, has won the attention of aspiring business professionals and of companies looking for solutions to nurture the next generation of leaders. 87% of its current students say that would recommend people in their network to study the program.
“I’m happy to see that the curriculum reflects the needs of today and tomorrow. The topics of study are those that we’re trying to develop at the workplace right now.”, said Trinh Mai Phuong, Vice President of HR (Human Resources) at Unilever Vietnam. Unilever are among the RMIT partners who participated in developing the program and sent their staff to study the Master of Global Trade.
Unilever was not the only industry representative who showed up at the event. We were glad to welcome Camellia Dinh, Head of the Lifestyle Division at Q Industries and Alex Ward, Employer Partner Manager at Hinrich Foundation. They were all happy to answer the questions raised by the audiences about their involvement in the program curriculum, the experience of studying the masters, as well as future career prospects.
Also in attendance was student representative, Abhishek Sinha, who joined the February 2021 intake. He shared his learning experience about how the program could help him in advance his career as the Market Development Manager, APAC (Asia Pacific) at Rytle Asia-Pacific. “In class we learn from each other, it is not a one-way lecture. You learn from the discussion that you have. Because there are decision-makers sitting in the class with you, you see how the strategies are deployed in the companies” he said.
